What is the purpose of your organisation?

We are a community based Not for Profit organisation with a mission to help community members in the unlikely event of tragedy or crisis.

We want to bridge the gap between government authorities, agencies, legal processes & the community to facilitate the deceased’s family members at the time of colossal loss.

By bridging this gap, we assist the authorities to effectively communicate with the community and assist the authorities in all possible ways to complete the processes involved.

We dream of binding the community and representing the community at a community level.

Who runs your organisation?

HACO is run by a very motivated and passionate team formed by volunteers of community members.

Our Volunteers are our unsung heroes who steal time from their families, who strive to make a difference in their own capacities to assist & help members of the community.

Our volunteers spend extensive times in researching, learning, developing processes, mechanism & infrastructure that will help the community in the time of crisis & other community services.

What shall I do in an unlikely event of crisis or tragic?

In the unlikely event of tragic death or crisis, please contact us. Please give the required details to one of the brothers who will access information & inform if we can be of any help.

Are you a Funeral Services Provider?

No, we are not a Funeral Services Provider. We are a community based voluntary organisation working to assist community members who are unaware of the processes & steps needed to be taken in case of death or tragedy.

Do you charge for your services?

No, we do not charge as we do not provide any services for profit. We are a community organisation working to provide free information in a structured approach to assist families who have lost their loved ones.

Do you sell Graves?

No, we do not sell graves. We depend on our beloved members of the community to donate to purchase the graves.

Few members of the community have purchased & donated the graves. We connect the people in need to the people who are willing to donate.

We reserve these graves and donate them free of cost to people who have not prepared themselves and struggle to have a dignified burial.

Can you help if we can’t afford to pay the burial costs?

Yes, this will be considered on a case by case scenario. We are community based Not for Profit organisation where in the members donate to purchase graves & cover the cost of funeral services to community members who are going through a financial crisis.

Where all do you have graves available to be donated?

Please refer to list of Grave sites available that we have in reserve that can be donated & have been donated in the past.

Can you help or assist in shipping the body overseas if need be?

Yes, we are a community based Not for Profit organisation whose mission is to help families in tragic & financial stress situations. We can assist you to expedite, facilitate & financial support to ship the body overseas.

Do you assist to get death certificate?

Yes, we are a community based Not for Profit organisation whose mission is to help families in tragic & financial stress situations. We can assist you to understand the process, facilitate & financially support to community members who are going through a financial crisis.

How can you assist in the process of Ghusl?

We are not a funeral services company. We are a community based organisation assisting community members in tragic situations. We can assist you to understand the process, facilitate & financially support community members who are going through a financial crisis by speaking to the Funeral services & other authorities at a community level.

Is there a choice of grave plot?

The grave is donated considering compassionate grounds factoring financial situations, urgency to bury & other circumstances. The graves will be donated on a case by case scenario trying to justify to the best possible extent
